My missions at Zen Garden Preschool are: to build
confidence in children; to encourage children's curiosity in
the world around us; to foster strong connections to the
Earth; to nurture children's artistic expressions and
unconditional positive regard for all living creatures.
I bring these missions to life by listening intently to each
child's needs, dreams and stories; by consistently satiating
my own curiosities with learning through literature, travel
and seeking sage advise from my mentors; by creating a sense
of responsibility for the earth through outside play and
gardening; and through leading by example from gratitude,
love and kindness.
